Wisin & Yandel continue their path to worldwide success

2008 Latin Grammy nominees Wisin & Yandel continue their path to worldwide success with back to back sold–out shows in Paraguay, Argentina and Peru. This follows their successful visit to Mexico in September, where Los Extraterrestres became the #1 selling album in the country and continues to be in the Top 40.

Marking this as their first visit to the South Cone, the journey began in Paraguay, where more than 27,000 fans came together for a historic performance: the show sold out within three hours of the tickets going on sale.

The tour continued in Argentina – a historically rock and pop market – with two sold out shows at the renowned Luna Park. Wisin & Yandel fever was everywhere, from the airport to the hotel, from the radio stations to the crowds at the arena, where more than 8,000 fans gathered each night to experience the phenomenon known as "Los Extraterrestres".

In Perú they performed two sold out nights.

Los Extraterrestres has been certified Triple Platinum in the US and Puerto Rico; Platinum in Venezuela; Gold in Colombia and Central America and is well on its way to garnering a Gold Record in Mexico!
